5. Records Available in Accordance with Other Legislation
The following are some of the laws under which Koral & Co. is required to retain certain records, and which records may be accessible in terms of PAIA:

7. Requesting Access to Records
In terms of PAIA, a requester must be provided with access to any record of a private body if:
- That record is required for the exercise or protection of any rights,
- The requester complies with the procedural requirements, and
- Access is not refused on any of the grounds set out in PAIA.
7.1. How to Request a Record:
- Complete Form C, available from the Department of Justice website (www.justice.gov.za).
- Submit the completed form to the Information Officer via email at info@koralandco.com or deliver it to our physical address.
- Provide sufficient details in the request to identify the record and the right being exercised or protected.
7.2. Fees:
- A requester may be required to pay a request fee and access fees as prescribed by PAIA before the request is processed.
- Koral & Co. will inform the requester of any applicable fees.
8. Grounds for Refusal of Access to Records
In terms of Chapter 4 of PAIA, access to certain records may be refused based on, but not limited to:
- Privacy of third parties
- Confidential commercial information
- Security of the company
- Protection of research information
